For nearly 45 years, reStart has been a lifeline for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Kansas City. Serving everyone across the full housing continuum—from street outreach and emergency shelter to transitional housing and permanent supportive housing—reStart provides not only safe shelter but also wraparound services, including meals, counseling, and employment support. Each year, reStart serves more than 1,300 neighbors, offering nearly 90,000 meals and walking alongside people on their journey from crisis to stable housing. With compassion, dignity, and community partnership, reStart is working to create a Kansas City where everyone has a safe place to call home.

- GRILLED CHICKEN PONTCHARTRAIN: One 4 oz grilled chicken breast served on a bed of dirty rice, and topped with a shrimp cream sauce (with a hint of tequila). Served with your choice of vegetable medley or succotash.
- BLACKENED CHICKEN PIERRE: One 4 oz blackened chicken breast served on a bed of dirty rice, and topped with a red wine demi glaze sauce with mushrooms and onions. Served with your choice of vegetable medley or succotash.
- TUNA CZARINA: One blackened tuna filet topped with shrimp and julienne veggies in a lemon cayenne cream sauce. Served on a bed of rice with your choice of veggie medley or succotash.
- PASTALAYA: A Cajun staple. Andouille sausage, beef tips and Tasso served over fettuccine with a Creole tomato sauce.
